WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

4–5 years of Oracle HCM experience with proven end-to-end data migration workstream ownership on at least two live implementations — not just HDL file execution under supervision
Expert HDL knowledge: has loaded complex objects beyond Core HR workers (absence balances, benefits, compensation, legislative calculation cards) and resolved their specific failure modes
Has designed and executed at least two production cutover migrations including dress rehearsal, delta data strategy, and go/no-go decision
Python or SQL proficiency for transformation automation and post-load reconciliation at scale
Demonstrated client data team management — has set quality gates, held data owners accountable, and escalated delivery failures through the project governance structure

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Oracle Global Human Resources Cloud Implementation Professional — the primary module certification for Senior Data Migration; expected at this level as evidence that migration work is grounded in genuine module understanding
Oracle Payroll Cloud Implementation Professional — payroll data migration is the highest-risk object track; a Payroll certification signals the depth required to own cutover decisions on payroll-in-scope programmes
Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications HCM Process Essentials certified — the foundational credential confirming cross-module process understanding
Experience migrating legislative calculation card history: CPF (Singapore), EPF/SOCSO (Malaysia), or superannuation (Australia)
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) hands-on experience for automating HDL file submission, status monitoring, and error notification during high-volume migration cycles

BUSINESS & CONSULTING SKILLS

Cutover communication — presents go/no-go recommendations to project leadership with a clear rationale that holds up under pressure
Client data team governance — sets quality gates, holds external data owners accountable, and escalates through the project structure without damaging the relationship
Migration risk articulation — translates data quality issues into business impact language that project leadership can act on, not just technical error counts
Delivery accountability — owns the migration workstream outcome, not just the individual load runs
Mentoring delivery — builds junior consultant capability through structured review, not just observation
Structured escalation — knows the difference between a data quality issue that can be resolved and one that requires a go-live date conversation.
